Get Your Vehicle Fixed With a No-Stress Guarantee

Our Services – Ogden Body Shop

At Ogden Body Shop, you can expect us to handle all the headaches of having your vehicle returned to its pre-collision-condition. We work with your insurance company to ensure all accident related damage is corrected and paid for under the liable party’s insurance policy.

If you need a vehicle during the repair period, we can help setup a rental and arrange to have the rental car company pick you up at Ogden Body when you drop-off your vehicle for repair.

When your vehicle is completed we handle returning the rental vehicle.

Start By Calling Us

Most people only experience a couple of accidents in a lifetime. (luckily)  We understand navigating the insurance claim process can be difficult and cumbersome.  On top of that COVID has changed the way the industry adjusts insurance claims.

Ogden Body is your expert insurance claim advocate.

We can answer any questions you may have about the claim flow, rental car, total losses and the repair process.

Stress Free Repairs

The first step to a smooth repair, is to call Ogden Body and let us take the burden of figuring “it”out, off your shoulders… We’ll take it from there.

If you want to have your vehicle inspected, we will setup an appointment for your vehicle with our certified estimator. If your vehicle is not driveable due to the damage, we will arrange to have your vehicle towed to our shop. Our team will walk you through what is to be expected during the repair process and help minimize the stress of getting your vehicle back on the road.

Vehicle Disassembly and Inspection

Once you decide to have us repair the vehicle, we will schedule the vehicle for a meticulous disassembly. This is the disassembly of damaged areas to find  damage that is not visible. This step is like peeling back layers of the onion far enough to take everything that is bad.  This damage is commonly referred to as “hidden damage”.  Our job is to identify and document all of the damage to ensure it gets repaired correctly.

With the vehicle disassembled, the appraiser can properly inspect the vehicle in order to create a list of required and necessary repairs.

The appraiser uses the information gained during this disassembly and inspection step to develop a comprehensive estimate to repair your vehicle.  Ogden Body’s staff has a sharp eye and obsession for detail that helps ensure all related damage is properly addressed in the repair plan.

Frame Work

The impact sustained by the vehicle during the accident may affect the underlying support structure of the vehicle, which is the frame. We have specialized,  computer-driven, 3-D laser imaging equipment to measure the vehicle frame to determine if the frame out of factory specifications.

Tremendous forces must be absorbed during an accident in order to move a frame out of specification. Only special equipment designed to secure the vehicle, while the frame is adjusted back within factory specifications, can be used.

Frame repair is not only a very technically specialized field due to the cost equipment to measure and adjust the frame, it also takes a highly skilled and experience technician to be able to work it back into it’s factory tolerances correctly, while maintaining the vehicles safty.

Most shops do not have the equipment to properly perform this type of repair. In fact, many auto body repair shops sublet frame repairs to our shop frame because they do not have the skills or equipment to do it themselves.

Body Repair

The body of your vehicle is typically the portion of the vehicle that is visible to the eye: bumpers, hood, fenders, doors, etc. Depending on the damage, the part may need to be replaced with a new one. For example, a cracked headlight will be replaced, but a slightly dented door may be repaired. Our appraiser will determine the best way of performing the repairs on your vehicles to maximize quality, safety, and cost effectiveness.

Refinishing Preparation

The next step in the repair process after the body work is complete is to prepare the vehicle for the areas to be painted. MOST shops do not properly “Prep” the  vehicle for paint because it is time consuming and not initially apparent after the job is painted and complete.

If a vehicle is not prepped properly, the paint job will eventually fail over time, but this happens usually several months or a year later. This is typically what happens with those TV commercial type shops that put more work into their advertising than the work on your vehicle. If you pay a low price, it is because some step is being cut short to save money. The Prep Step is the most likely step you are not getting with other shops.

For ALL of our customers we  have a life time guarantee on the paint job.

Most shop’s only offer a limited guarantee and then only to their  insurance direct repair programs…we think that is wrong.

Refinishing

Once the vehicle has been prepped, Ogden Body can now take the necessary steps to paint the vehicle to bring it back to life. This is the step that is most apparent to the  outside world. The repairs can be performed perfectly, but without a precise paint job the repair is not complete.

Ogden Body uses high quality paint for your vehicle as we would for our vehicle repair.

Please do not hesitate to contact Ogden Body Shop. to learn about our auto body repair services!
